Good first try. Can try again.

Listen pal, most people who give you zeros never made a flash game/animation in their entire life, and don't know how time taking it can be-don't let them discourage you.
Now, consider this:
The feets: The feets are time taking to animate ,but worth it. Give them a try.
The jumping was far too chunky. Try using tweens.
Also, believe me, working in different frames is totaly worth it.
Furthermore, I can tell you DID put some time in it, but I believe you could put more. It's not about working a week head on an animation. Animation here is a hobby. You ca neither work on an animation for 2-3 weeks with pauses, or one week head on. Take your time.

Now, to something more important: Your style. Many people copy Madness at first because it seems easy and achievable. Well, it somewhat is, but is a style which doesn't relate to everyone.

I am rating you on both purpose and animation qlty

Let's face it. FF is a pain. You dislike them as much as we do. But still, you are only giving them attention. Also, I don't believe everyone dislikes pico.

Animation wise. Even though small, you have put sync. music and sounds, as well as made it smooth. Even though it was really short, you did put some effort into it, and am ready to say that you have skills.
Don't waste those skills. Do something else.

Quality wise. The animation was smooth, the sound was sync. and most of all, the sprite used were not only fitting, but were used perfectly.
%u0CA5_%u0CA5 I feel the pain of this remaining unfinished.

I hate that I didn't finish, but I just really didn't like how it was going, so I just had to finish it. It was excruciating, everytime I opened it up, I felt the urge to barf at its SWF.

Not bad at all

This is very instructive, and fits its role: Being educational. There, however, are a couple of issues:
1)The animation was too fast, meaning that people did not always have enough time to read the thing
2)The music and sounds were kind of bothering, stopping people from concentrating with the facts.

Brillant stuff, if you ask me. And the use of pixel art alongside smoothlines is ussually difficult and fail-ish, and you achieved this brillantly.

Again, well done.

the original flash that I showed to my class had no sound and the text was even faster

WOW

The BEST stickmen serie. great storyline, fx, characters, sounds.... it has it all.listen to me, if this guy was to redo all the serie into 1 file, he could make a movie and make money with it. that s how good he is.
